    • RE: Computer science projects to combat climate change

@hodgesrm why not try to do some social activism promoting engagement on a platform like this and trying to gamify people's positive environmental interactions? Social proof is incredibly effective

    • RE: Happy Earth Day! What are you doing to celebrate?

Coincidentally, the value of oil has vanished in the last few days (I fully believe it will go back up)

We're walking and biking everywhere we need to go today, which isn't too tough considering everything is closed. Every action matters though!

    • RE: Terrament: solving our trillion-dollar energy storage crisis

@Eric-Chaves seeing as how energy storage is so critical to getting more clean energy on the grid, I commend your efforts with Terrament.

I've seen underwater pumped hydro storage before like this company. What pros and cons exist with underwater vs underground energy storage?

    • RE: Pros/Cons with viewing change through the Climate Justice lens?

@skaushik92 I mean it's kind of a fact that poorer coastal nations will be subject to natural disasters at a disproportionately higher rate. That being said, I don't think that always needs to be the lens that you take on things - ultimately it's a global issue that affects everyone

    • RE: How to eat more sustainably?

@teddy It's wild to think how people must have coped even a few hundred years ago without access to even basic cooking staples as you've mentioned. What @briparks and you are striving for is really admirable. What meal did you end up cooking? I imagine in Maine it might have involved potatoes...
