@Martin-Collignon Is this claim because they anticipate reduced demand for cow-based products? What would drive such a drastic reduction in 10 years?

@Cali-Johnston They expect lab proteins to be so cheap (at equivalent quality) in 10 years that demand for animal products will drastically drop.

@Martin-Collignon I can totally believe that lab proteins will have a big reduction in cost as more players enter the space. I think the tough part will be in getting the social transition to happen. Many people are unfortunately set in their ways and not ready to transition away from real meat. Maybe the economics will be too compelling to not switch. What do you think?
