Suggesting new tags for /tags

Is there any way to suggest new tags for the https://collective.energy/tags page? Should there be? It might be fine if it's just a closed curated list.

Oh! I just realized that you can add a new tag in a post by just typing it and hitting tab. And that adds it to the /tags page. I thought you had to choose an existing one.
Feel free to archive this thread if you want. Or ill leave it in case it informs someone else.
